Library Lockers

Our library lockers allow patrons to access books and materials from the library at any time of the day or night. Patrons can reserve items online and get a code to unlock the locker where their items are

Lockers are intended for short term, one (1) month storage of materials and should not be used for long term storage. The library is not responsible for materials kept in lockers.

Lockers: Libraries

Lockers on the first floor of University Library and in Mudd Library are available for short-term storage. Day-use lockers are self-service and signage in the space has instructions for setting a 4-digit code.

How long can library lockers be stored

During periods of intensive library use, the University Library offers long-term lockers in the following branches: Main Library, Science and Technology Branch Library (TNZB) and

Anyone with a W&M ID or Swem library card may check out a short-term use locker. Long-term use lockers are reserved for W&M faculty, staff, and graduate students.

LIBRARY LOCKER POLICY

Library staff reserve the right to open, inspect, or empty any locker after the expiration of the locker checkout agreement date, for which the key has not been returned or renewed.

Locker Policy

Lockers are available in the library in room 161 (to the right of the elevator on the entry level) for semester-long checkout. Locks are available at the Library Services Desk for checkout.
